A docking station for the iPod and the iPhone, the iTree is, simply put, a wood amplifier made out of a tree trunk. And that, creates great acoustics as great as in a violin, or a cello etc.
Made by Austrian design studio KMKG, each is custom-built, with buyers getting to pick a tree from the woods in the “Steirische Vulkanland” region of Austria. It’s no surprise that these sonorous logs conceal über high-end speakers, a pair of which can cost over $175,000.
